BitDefender 2010 has more bugs than a forest campsite. Two of it's most common are: Loading the scan twice, at the same time, during scheduled scans and automatically shutting itself down during the night, I spent a month waiting for a response from their "support team" at least two weeks of that time following their not so specific instructions, un-installing and re-installing the software a dozen times, speaking with them via phone all to no avail.

They did however offer Me an additional years subscription free of cost. Like I needed an additional year of this aggravation? I finally dumped it and purchased Norton. If you want reliability and peace of mind stay away from BitDefender
